Colleen Kelly

Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada Colleen is a longtime resident of Claremont and the surrounding area. A graduate of Bonita High School (La Verne), Colleen holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English Literature (from Cal-State San Bernardino and Chapman University, respectively). Her professional experience prior to founding Smart Property Services, Inc. includes working for General Dynamics, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and the Rialto Unified School District. Colleen has been involved in the local real estate arena first as a property owner and later as an agent, and broker. She has personally been managing properties since 1978. Her varied business experience coupled with excellent customer service skills and first-hand experience uniquely qualify Colleen to advice owners and tenants as to the specifics of property management and real estate. In her spare time, Colleen volunteers in her granddaughter’s classroom, crochets, enjoys long walks and loves to swim.
Stacey Caponigro

Stacey Caponigro began her career in the banking industry holding a variety of positions including management. While in banking she gained a greater understanding for customer service, business development, finance, sales and marketing. A native of Southern California, her passion for real estate began at a young age observing her parents invest in real estate. In 2012, Stacey pursued her dream and joined her parents at their property management and real estate company, Smart Property Services, Inc. She brings a new perspective to the business, enjoys assisting clients with maintaining profitable investments, keeping a close eye on the real estate market, rehabbing properties, and maintaining the highest quality of service. Further, Stacey remains current on new laws and changes in the real estate and property management industries through continuing education. Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of La Verne, is a licensed Realtor with the Citrus Valley Board of Realtors (CVAR), and a certified property manager through the California Apartment Association (CAA). In addition to her career she also enjoys outdoor activities, networking and volunteering in the community as well as traveling the world.

Risa graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona in 1996 with a degree in Accounting, passed all four parts of the CPA exam on the first try and in the past has worked in the accounting field with audits and taxes. She now maintains books for her own clients to provide crystal clear Financial Statements: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements. She has worked in the loan processing and real estate broker industry as well as she ran family owned restaurants in Claremont and La Verne, including the well-known Podge’s Claremont Juice Co. in downtown Claremont from 1996-2011. She has worked in the property management field since 2011 and enjoys the industry and working with Smart Property Services. Their individual attention to every property, owner, tenant and vendor is exactly what each client deserves, and she enjoys helping them achieve this high level of customer service. She also enjoys her four children, live music and social dancing.
Catherine Dickerson

Catherine Dickerson has been a part of the Claremont community since 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from California Lutheran University, post graduate studies in the Women’s Studies and Philosophy MA/Ph.D. program at Claremont Graduate University and a culinary degree in Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. She’s owned and operated her catering company and café, providing food service to Claremont Colleges, since 2007. Property investing has always been a part of her background, having grown up with parents who bought and sold properties for thirty years. She credits her aunt for introducing her to real estate sales, as a child, accompanying her to open houses in Washington D.C. Catherine has been a renter, a homeowner, and a property investor. She brings honesty, trust, and consistency to her clients. She enjoys international travel, fine dining, cinema and her toy poodle, Harriet.
