Originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, Colleen has been a long-time resident of Claremont and its surrounding areas. A graduate of Bonita High School (La Verne), she holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in English Literature from Cal-State San Bernardino and Chapman University, respectively.

Before founding Smart Property Services, Inc., Colleen gained invaluable experience working at General Dynamics, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and Rialto Unified School District. She entered the real estate world first as a property owner, later becoming a licensed agent and broker, and has been managing properties personally since 1978.

Colleen’s wealth of experience, dedication to customer service, and hands-on expertise uniquely qualify her to guide property owners and tenants with precision and care. When she’s not working, Colleen enjoys volunteering, playing pickleball, taking long walks, and swimming.

Stacey Caponigro started her career in the banking industry, where she excelled in management, customer service, finance, and marketing. A Southern California native, Stacey developed her passion for real estate early, inspired by her parents’ real estate investments.

In 2012, Stacey joined her family’s business, bringing fresh perspectives and a deep passion for helping clients maintain profitable investments. She specializes in tracking real estate trends, property rehabs, and maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction.

Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of La Verne and is a licensed Realtor with the Citrus Valley Board of Realtors (CVAR). She’s also a certified property manager through the California Apartment Association (CAA). Outside of work, Stacey enjoys serving on several boards/committees in the Claremont community, outdoor adventures, networking, volunteering, and traveling the world.

With over 12 years of experience in real estate—primarily focused on the legal side of the industry—Dylan brings a detail-oriented and compliance-driven approach to his role as Operations Manager. His passion for thorough record-keeping and accurate documentation ensures that every aspect of the business runs smoothly and transparently.



Dylan is committed to treating every client, tenant, and vendor with fairness and respect, working diligently behind the scenes to support the company’s mission of exceptional property management. And when he's not fine-tuning operational processes, he enjoys long walks on the beach.

Catherine Dickerson brings two decades of Claremont expertise and a unique blend of education and entrepreneurship to real estate. A California Lutheran University graduate with advanced studies at Claremont Graduate University, she also holds a prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Paris culinary degree.



Her business acumen shines through her successful catering company and café, which has served the Claremont Colleges since 2007. Raised by veteran property investors, Catherine's real estate passion stems from extensive personal experience as a renter, homeowner, and investor. This diverse background enables her to provide insightful, trustworthy guidance to clients at every stage of their real estate journey.

When not assisting clients, Catherine explores her passions for international travel, fine dining, and film, accompanied by her toy poodle, Harriet.
